In Revelation 18:4 He calls out, “Come out of her My people.” This verse is a summons issued to the people of God to disentangle themselves from the allure of the world: an allure strong and often irresistible. The Lord continues to exhort the believer to extricate themselves from the web of the world’s deceit. He doesn’t expect the believer to accomplish this in their own strength, but enables all who appropriate the power of the Holy Spirit to be victorious. In each of the seven letters He repeats the phrase “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says.”
